A 33-year-old Colac man is facing a number of charges after an incident in Winchelsea on Friday
A Victoria Police spokesperson says they responded to a crash just before 2pm
“Police responded to a rear end collision in Main Street Winchelsea that saw a Mazda collide with another car before fleeing the scene.”
“Police patrols quickly located the driver – a 33 year old man from Colac who was processed for drug possession, drug driving and other traffic related charges.”
There were no serious injuries stemming from the crash.
The driver is scheduled to appear in Colac Magistrate’s Court later this year.
